Virtual Dining Concepts Raises $ 20 Million in Series A Funding



Virtual Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC), the leader in the rapidly growing virtual dining space, today announced Series A funding of $ 20 million. Funding was raised from investors including Spice Private Equity, a subsidiary of GP Investments.

Founded in 2019 by renowned restaurateur Robert Earl, Earl Enterprises Marketing Director Trish Giordano and Earl’s son, VDC President Robbie Earl, the company has already launched brands such as Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen. Mariah Carey’s cookies, MrBeastBurger. NASCAR Refuel, Buddy V’s Cake Slice and its new brand, Barstool Bites.

Proceeds from the offering will be used to fund the development of additional technologies, improve the company’s infrastructure and provide additional marketing and customer support to increase revenues for market partners.


Virtual Dining Concepts is the creator of virtual restaurant brands poised to increase brick-and-mortar kitchen revenue. Delivery-only infrastructure, proprietary online platform (with third-party delivery interface), and marketing strategy services guide independent restaurateurs from setup to creation. Virtual dining concepts include celebrity and non-celebrity brands with menus derived from various cuisines including Italian, Mexican, American, and more.
