voice actress Rie tanaka, who played a variety of anime characters including Lacus Clyne (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed) and Suigintou (Rozen girl), will launch a new musical unit with two Swedish rock musicians, Patrik leonheart and Simon andante. Both are former members of a Swedish metal art group called BatAAr who have toured the world.
The name of the unit is Ouz: me (pronounced U-Zu-Me). The unit features Rie Tanaka on vocals, Patrick and Simon writing, arranging and producing songs that make Tanaka’s voice even more appealing. Their first single “PROJECTOR” will be released on February 25, 2022, and digital pre-order is now available. The song is composed by Patrick, and its lyrics are written by Kazuya miwa, the singer / guitarist of the four-member Japanese rock band Narudora. It’s said to be a soulful song that combines a heavy Djent feel with an 8 string guitar and J-Pop sound.
