XJet strengthens its presence in Asia-Pacific


XJet Ltd announced today that it is strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The appointment of a dedicated strategic distributor in China, along with advanced discussions with other distributors in the region and the addition of Lior Meron as the APJ regional manager of XJet to the team, strengthen the position of the business in the region.

The distribution agreement with Pentatech saw the installation of XJet’s first two additive manufacturing systems in China, as well as on the Asian continent, which now operate live at Pentatech’s demonstration site in Hangzhou. Pentatech is a new company founded by Jun Tang and the Dunhe Foundation for the resale of XJet printers exclusively in China. The company plans to build five additive manufacturing centers in mega-cities across China, each featuring XJet Carmel 1400 additive manufacturing systems. Pentatech has successfully incubated its AM medical products and services office – Thales Medtech.
